Business and trade are well carried on this Indonesian destination.
Kupang is popular for its sandalwood oil factories. Kupang Museum is also very popular and it is of great historical and cultural value. Kupang, city of Indonesia, is also well known for the town markets, and several ikat weaving in nearby villages are also popular. Kupang has awesome white sand beaches at Pantai Laisiana which is situated on the north of Dili and it has a magnificent shelf road just inside the border of Timor Province and the sunset is worth watching.
Another attraction is Semau Island and it’s a thirty minute boat ride from Kupang. It’s an ideal place to spend a day in a relaxed mood away from the bustle and crowd of the city. It’s a perfect holiday village as its waters are tranquil and various water sport activities are available for the enthusiastic visitors. Bamboo cottages along with excellent Barbecue on the beach are unavoidable. Camplong is a lovely community about 45 km from Kupang and is also a forest reserve where beautiful birds can be viewed.
