Travel across the Penang Bridge, one of the longest bridges in the world. Adjourn to Nibong Tebal one of the largest towns in Seberang Perai. The name Nibong Tebal means 'Dense Palms', or the ‘Nibung Trees’ that grow in the surrounding mangrove forests. Visit the traditional clay pots makers of the district. Witness the workers who are originally from India using the wheel wedging to roll the clay out in order to make the ornate pots.

Stop for dinner at a local restaurant and after dinner, proceed to the Kerian River to observe a fascinating natural phenomena fireflies watching. Different types of wetland trees such as Berembang and Nipah Palms grow along the riverbanks. The fireflies living here are attracted to these Berembang trees which are found in clumps between the Nipah Palms. You can also take some photos of swiftlets farm located near the riverbanks. These specially build structures are for the purpose of providing breeding sites for swiftlets prized for producing the valuable bird's nests used in Chinese cooking.
