3 Days 2 Night Bako National Park Tour

Day 1 Kuching - Bako National Park (Lunch / Dinner)

• Pick-up at the hotel for a one-hour drive to Bako Village, followed by a 30-minute boat ride to the
  park headquarters. Bako National Park, Sarawak's oldest and most renowned national park, spans
  2,727 hectares and boasts seven unique ecosystems which includes beach vegetation, cliff
  vegetation, mangroves, peat swamp forests, mixed dipterocarp forests, heath forests and
  grasslands. It is also home to breathtaking cliff faces, sandstone structures, sea stacks and pristine
  sandy beaches, all shaped by ongoing coastline changes due to constant soil erosion.
  Bako National Park is the ideal introduction to Sarawak’s forests and wildlife, through its diverse
  ecosystem, extensive jungle trail system, scenic coastline and frequent wildlife sightings. Its
  uniqueness lies in its proximity to wildlife, where you can often spot proboscis monkeys, long-tailed
  macaques, and silver leaf monkeys near the park headquarters, while bearded boars, monitor
  lizards, and various bird species can also be observed.
  
  The park’s vast network of 17 interconnected hiking trails provides a range of walking and trekking
  options. These trails cater to diverse preferences, offering short and easy walks near the park
  headquarters, as well as full-day jungle hikes, ensuring a different learning experience for each
  trail.
  
  Upon arrival, embark on a trail exploration and wildlife spotting alongside your guide. Enjoy lunch
  at the park canteen, then resume your exploration of Bako. After dinner, proceed for a night walk
  illuminated by torchlight.

Day 2 Bako National Park (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• After breakfast, set out on a trail hike to spot rare migratory birds, langurs, reptiles, proboscis monkeys and various plant species. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the park.

Day 3 Bako National Park - Kuching (Breakfast / Lunch)

• After breakfast, proceed to another trail to spot carnivorous plants, pitcher plants and various plant species. Lunch will be provided at the park before returning to Kuching by mid-afternoon.
