Fashion
is a main concern among the people in Hong Kong. They often 'dress
to kill' wherever they go and for whatever they do. Haute couture
rubs its stylish shoulders with chic local brands, and most international
design houses maintain exclusive outlets in the city. Hong Kong's
own designers, such as Barney Cheng, Viviene Tam, Walter Ma, Lulu
Cheung, and Wiliam Tang are among those who have shops in Hong Kong,
as well as in other fashion capitals of the world.
The
myriad of shops and department stores in the region houses items
from funky wear to exclusive formal wear to all other accessories
and furnishing such as watches, handbags, and spectacles. Season
sales, especially those in winter, are the best times to shop for
fashion wear.
