With 22 rooms linked by a corridor, this complex is bombproof and was also capable of recycling its own air supply. It was also the place where Lt-Gen Percival made his decision to surrender to the invading Japanese troops on February 15, 1942. The bunker is now a recreated exhibition site that features robotic wax figures and virtual-reality viewing of actual footage of events leading to the surrender of Singapore. The last entry is at 5 p.m. Getting there : Walk towards Fort Canning Park from Dhoby Ghout MRT Station.
