Singapore Discovery Centre Visitors will be able to see Singapore's history and technological endeavors. At the same time, they can have fun with interactive attractions. Attractions include a 9-meter wide map containing 2,574 photographs of Singaporeans from all walks of life, and the iWerks Theatre that has a 5-story high large format screen. There are interactive games, such as the shooting gallery and a motion simulator (extra charges apply). There is also an outdoor Children's Adventureland. Operating hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Tuesdays to Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and public holidays. Getting there : Take SBS Bus 192 or 193 from Boon Lay MRT Station. Singapore Science Centre With more than 600 displays, the world of science becomes alive in the Science Centre. It is an informal education institution, which promote science and technology among students and the public. Acclaimed as one of the top 10 science centers in the world, it has the country's largest collections of educational and exhibit materials devoted to science. At the Aviation Gallery, the principles of flight and Man's experiments with flight are shown in an entertaining fashion. The Centre includes the Omnimax Theatre, where spectacular visual and sound effects give the viewer a sense of virtual reality. Operating hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesdays to Sundays. Getting there : Take SBS Bus 66 or 335 from Jurong East MRT Station.
