- Day 01 Arrival – Kuching City Tour
Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet and greet by our friendly representative and proceed for KUCHING CITY & SHOPPING TOUR. Kuching, the Capital of Sarawak, is a cosmopolitan city and this is reflected in the faces on the street. Its city centre is well preserved with ornate Chinese Temples, The Astana, City Tower, and many fine examples of colonial-style architecture, a beautiful waterfront and a number of interesting museums such as Cat Museum. Other places of interest include the famous landmark of the city, the New DUN, The Golden Bridge, The Cat Monument, Market, Main Bazaar, China Town, Old State Mosque & etc. After tour, transfer to hotel of your choice for check in and overnight.
- Day 02 Semenggoh Nature Reserve – Crocodile Farm – Sarawak Sunset River Cruise (Breakfast )
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning proceed to visit SEMENGGOH WILDLFE CENTRE. traveling overland (30 min) followed by a brief hike through dipterocarp forest. Upon arrival at the centre, you will be able to catch a glimpse of the Orang Utans during their feeding time. Spot their delicate nests watch their skillful movements at the treetops and also their interesting behaviour during feeding time. The guide will narrate to you the behaviour, emotion and characteristics of this special primate called Orang Utan, meaning ‘Man of the Forest’. Continue the journey to visit CROCODILE FARM & MINI ZOO. The farm set amidst tropical fruit trees and lush-greenery is a home to over 1,000 crocodiles. It serves as a perfect sanctuary to these fearsome reptiles where they are kept in an enclosure designed and built similar to the natural habitat of the reptiles. Apart from the crocodiles, explore the farm where other fascinating animals such as the bear cats, civets, deer, pythons & etc are found in the state of Sarawak. Evening, proceed for SARAWAK SUNSET RIVER CRUISE. Cruise along the Sarawak River is a relaxing way to enjoy the various phases of the city and retrace the trip James Brooke made when he first arrived in Sarawak. You will sail past the Waterfront, Brooke Dockyard, the 100-year-old Malay Kampung, Fort Margherita, Astana, Square Tower and the Industrial Estate. As you sail toward the sea colourful fishing boats will appear in abound and nearby Bako after the Chinese and Malay villages are the houses and mansions of Kuching’s affluent society. The constant changing of this living scenery gives you the best picture of the history and lifestyles in Kuching. After tour, transfer back to hotel for overnight.
- Day 03 Sarawak Cultural Village / Cat Museum / Kek Lapis (Breakfast)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE. The Village, also known as the “Living Museum”, is a kaleidoscope of Sarawak's
rich cultures and time-honoured traditions. Explore seven authentic ethnic house replicas: the Chinese Farm House, Malay Stilted House, Melanau Tall House,
Penan Hut, and Longhouses of the Iban, Bidayuh, and Orang Ulu ethnic groups. Within these dwellings, you will find countless artefacts crafted by their
respective ethnic inhabitants. As you roam the village, witness live arts and crafts demonstrations such as beadwork, wood and bamboo carvings, “pua”
weaving, and straw weaving. Before you leave, be sure not to miss the captivating cultural performances by various ethnic groups at the Village Theatre. Visit
to CAT MUSEUM. It was founded in 1993. It is owned by the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU). There are 2000 exhibits, artifacts, statues about cats from all
over the world. Continue for SHOPPING TOUR. Kuching is a haven for those seeking unique souvenirs and local treasures. You can browse for handmade
crafts, trinkets and indigenous products such as woodcarvings, the patterned, multi-coloured “pua kumbu” ceremonial cloth, and versatile Sarawak pottery
adorned with ethnic motifs. Edible bird’s nest, known for its health benefits, and pepper spice in a beautifully crafted ceramic cat figurine, also make for
exquisite and thoughtful gifts suitable for any occasion.
A must-visit while in Sarawak is a “Kek Lapis” delicatessen bakery. The renowned Sarawak Kek Lapis is a traditional layered cake, available in an array of
flavours with adorned with intricate designs, making an excellent gift for friends and family. After tour, transfer back to the hotel for overnigh
- Day 04 Departure – Kuching Airport (Breakfast)
Breakfast at the hotel and free at leisure until check out from the hotel and transfer to Kuching International Airport for your departure flight
