Gusto
does not offer hot food except for fixed priced dinners. For lunch,
there is a choice of assorted platters and sandwiches of cheese
and meats. A great alternative when time is limited. At dinner time,
a fixed priced menu puts you in your place - primi (hungry), secondi
(famished), tuttomente (greedy) - offering a meal for every appetite.
For those who have returned to Gusto for a cheese platter and vin
santo, try the dolce vita - Moscato d'asti with an oversized torta
di ricotta. The wine bar offers a list of more than 60 wines ranging
from Chianti to some of France and Australia's coveted cabernets.
Available for you to take home, eaux de vie, vin santo and grappas
are packed into chic boxes.
Together
with the friendly, helpful staff and smooth jazz, Gusto makes you
feel so good that you may even want to buy the whole shop. It is
an ideal place for family gatherings. The deli has set itself apart
from the stiff competition in Bangsar by serving freshly baked breads
"panini", made to order sandwiches, crostini, bruschetta, frittata,
prosciutto, antipasti, pasta fresco, gorgonzola, soups, espresso
bar, dolci, wine by the glass, baking section and take away breads
and sandwiches. All are served in a pure and natural décor. Unadulterated
taste and inspired simplicity are the main characteristics of the
Italian cuisine.
