Hengchun Hengchun Peninsular is the coastal crescent that occupies Taiwan's southern regions. The town of Hengchun, on the other hand, is situated between Checheng and Kenting. The Chinese Clock Tower and the ancient East Gate are worth visiting, along with the remains of the town wall. Towards the south, visitors can capture sights of scenic seascapes. The Palace of Blessed Virtue is a temple that sits in an enchanting cavern of bizarre rocks and trees. A passage leads to the Blessed Spirit Tortoise, a turtle-shaped rock with a green shell formed by vines growing on top. Kenting Kenting is a roadside resort that lies between Kenting Park in the hills and Kenting Beach on the shore. A variety of hotels are available for visitors to choose from. The National Park is on the southernmost tip of Taiwan on the island's only tropical coastline. Three sides of waters surround the park: Pacific Ocean to the east, Bashi Channel to the south, and the Taiwan Strait to the west. Measuring 17,700 hectares of land and 14,900 hectares of water, the park is popular for its coral reefs and tropical rainforests. On the other hand, Kenting Beach offers visitors an unmarred white-sand beach that extends about 200m (650ft). The clear blue water is warm and superb for swimming, especially during April to October.
