Lambir Hill National Park is located along the Miri-Bintulu Road, some 30 km south of Miri City. The park was established on 26 June 1975 and covers an area of about 6,952 hectares.
The park has an outstanding regional and global conservation significance for its extraordinary species-rich forest, ideal for botanist and researchers throughout the world.
The trail system in the national park is composed of primary, secondary and tertiary trails. All the trails are well-marked and can be explored unguided except for the Summit Trail which is excellent for adventurous hikers.
The park is famous for its numerous waterfalls and the main pool with sandy beach in the middle of the jungle.
Jungle trekking, bird watching, jungle nature escapade or just to chill yourself in the cool natural swimming pool are some of the common reasons to visit the park.
Your tour starts with pick up from your hotel and overland transfer to Miri which will take around two hours.
A brief stop will be made in Miri for you to buy some essential items like mineral water, insect repellent, sunblock lotion or slippers before we proceed to the national park which will take another 30 minutes.
Upon arrival at the national park, our driver / guide will register you and brief you on the park before leaving you to explore the national park on your own. There is a canteen and shop at the entrance for you to buy some snacks and finger food for your picnic lunch by the pool in the forest. In the late afternoon, we will depart for Brunei and the tour ends with drop off at your hotel.
