Day 1: Sandakan / Libaran Island (Lunch / Dinner Included)
- Pick up time 8.00 am from Sandakan hotel or airport. Then transfer you to the Sandakan yacht club. Proceed to register and stand by for departure. Around 1030hrs departure from jetty and expected to arrive at Libaran Island, free and easy relaxing at the sun deck area while enjoying the sun or walk along the beach. Around 1230hrs have your lunch. At 1400hrs will start your briefing about the turtles conservation program by our in-house Honorary wildlife warden, Visit the turtle hatchery after the briefing set up by Walai Penyu Resort with the collaboration of the Sabah Wildlife Department and effort to address the threat of the extinction of turtles as well as creating awareness and educate the public. At 1500hrs relax and chill by the beach - ideal for sunbathing. Dinner will be served around 1830hrs. After the dinner you may have the opportunity to release baby turtles if there are hatchlings (IF AVAILABLE). Thereafter, a waiting game for th ranger call for turtle sighting **Even though record shows turtles come to Libaran island consistently, the sighting is still NOT GUARANTEED. Overnight at the Island. (1 Tent, Twin Bed)
** No electricity supply during the day time. The Generator Set will be on by 1800 hrs till 0000 hrs .
Day 2: Libaran Island / Sandakan (Breakfast Included)
- Enjoy the morning scene. Breakfast at 0700hrs breakfast, depart (0800hrs) from island back to Sandakan by 0900++hrs. Transfer to Sandakan hotel or airport (B)
