Laem is the Thai word for cape. This beach is at the end of Cape Ka (Laem Ka). It is one of those beautiful little beaches split by rock formations and ringed by trees. The beach is sand and shingle. The seabed is sand and rocks, not the best for bathing but okay. The rocks in the sea provide some decent snorkeling opportunities and there are some nice coral reefs not far offshore. This beach faces east towards Koh Lon (Lon Island) and the sea is therefore relatively tranquil even in the rainy season.
