Alor Setar Introduction
Alor Star (Malay: Alor Setar) is the state capital of Kedah, on the west coast of peninsular Malaysia. It is the only state capital in west coast of Peninsular Malaysia that is rich in Malay culture. Despite the development and being the state capital, tourists are able to enjoy the scenic view of paddy plantation around the outskirt of the city. This ideal for those who wants a more laid-back city getaway.
