Banding Island Introduction
Pulau Banding, it is actually an inland island located right in the heart of Peninsular Malaysia, in Tasik (lake) Temenggor in the state of Perak, and sits squarely on the highway that joins Kota Bahru and Kuala Trengganu in the east, and Gerik and Kuala Kangsar in the west.
How to Get There
Driving to Pulau Banding from Kuala Lumpur takes about five hours. From Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Highway and head north towards Ipoh. Take the Kuala Kangsar exit and head towards Gerik, bypassing the town of Lenggong. This highway will take you straight to Pulau Banding.
