How to Get There
By Air

The Penang International Airport at Bayan Lepas is about 40 km or 50 minutes away from Sri Sayang Resort Service Apartments. Direct air services from Kuala Lumpur to Penang Island are provided by Malaysian Airlines, Air Asia and Pelangi Air on a daily basis. There are also direct international flights into Penang by the following Airlines, Cathay Pacifics, China Airlines, China Southern, Garuda Indonesia, KLM Royal Dutch, Luthansa Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways.

COACHES FROM KUALA LUMPUR TO PENANG AND BUTTERWORTH.
Two major Coach companies operating from Kuala Lumpur to Penang Island and Butterworth, namely Transnasional Express and Plusliner/Nice on daily basis.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad ( KTM Berhad) or Malayan Railway provides comfortable and economical rail services from Kuala Lumpur to Butterworth. KTM Berhad operates one rail service daily known as Express Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur Sentral station to Butterworth. From Butterworth you may take the ferry to Georgetown, Penang Island. The ferry terminal is within walking distance from Butterworth Railway Station.

Those traveling by road to Penang Island has the choices of using the Penang Bridge or the Ferry service via Butterworth.

Ferries to Penang operates 18 Hours around the clock. From 5.00 am to 12.00 midnight. Ferry operates at 15 minutes frequency. The ferry terminal to Penang Island is within walking distance from Butterworth Railway Station and Butterworth Bus Terminal.
