The Crown Borneo Hotel is centrally located within the Tanjung Aru town just minutes away from the city centre. Located within Tanjung Aru is the Air Asia Terminal 2 airport, which only takes 5 minutes to reach the hotel. Flying in with Malaysian Airlines is located at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) Terminal 1, which takes 10 minutes to/from the hotel.

It only takes 10 minutes to get to the city centre from the hotel. Taxis and buses readily available to/from the city centre. The distance to the well-loved Tanjung Aru Beach is well worth the walk, which takes only 20 minutes from the hotel.

There are many coffee-shops located close by the hotel, within the Tanjung Aru township; which serves a mixture of local foods during the day. Located in the Tanjung Aru Beach, you will also find more western style restaurants.
